The Hindu Pilgrimage Tour in Nepal is an eight days package. Starting the tour from Kathmandu sightseeing, we will visit Pashupatinath, the holy temple of Hindus where people of other religions are not allowed to enter. Pashupatinath is the main Hindu Pilgrimage of Nepal that the spiritual and faith believers visit here at least once in their lifetime. Another pilgrimage site is Kailashnath Mahadev at Sanga. The statue of Kailashnath Mahadev is the world’s tallest statue of Lord Shiva. Dakshinkali is another Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to goddess Kali. Buddhanilkantha or Narayanthan is the Hindu open-air temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Manakamana temple is another Hindu pilgrimage site. It is said that if you wish anything by heart, your wish will be fulfilled if you visit Manakamana temple. And another is Muktinath temple, a holy temple of both Buddhist and Hindus and en-route Pokhara sightseeing. Pokhara is a scenic lake city if Nepal and offers many more to explore. The Hindu Pilgrimage tour ends after we drive back to Kathmandu.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet and greet our representatives from Moonline Tours P. Ltd and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. If you have free time, roam around the streets of Kathmandu.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour at Pashupatinath; the holy temple of Lord Shiva. Located at the bank of the Bagmati River, Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will then move towards Kailashnath Mahadev, located at the border of Bhaktapur and Kavrepalanchok district. The statue of Kailashnath Mahadev is the World’s tallest statue of Lord shiva. Exploring some more time at Kailashnath Mahadev, we then return back to Kathmandu. Roam around Kathmandu as you can witness many Hindu temples in every corner.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

After breakfast, proceed for guided sightseeing tour at Dakshinkali temple. Dakshinkali temple is located at the southern side of Kathmandu. It is a temple dedicated to the goddess Kali. Devotees from different parts come here for various offerings. Dakshinkali temple is considered as one of the powerful temples in Nepal. Then we head towards Narayanthan temple. Narayanthan temple is also called Budhanilkantha temple, a Hindu open-air temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The statue of Narayanthan is a huge sleeping Lord Vishnu located below Shivapuri hills. Return back to Kathmandu.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

Today. We will be heading towards Pokhara and en-route Manakamana temple. After breakfast, drive to Kurintar observing the beautiful landscapes, dense forest, dispersed local settlements, and terraced farmlands. From Kurintar, visit the Manakamana temple through a cable car. Manakamana temple lies in the top of the hill in the Gorkha district, and it is said that if you wish anything by heart, your wish will be fulfilled if you visit here. Spending some more time observing around, return back to Kurintar and drive to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara, check-in at the hotel. Roam around lakeside in the evening and overnight at Pokhara.

We will take an early morning flight to Pokhara as the weather in Jomsom doesn’t remain good during day time. Upon arrival at Jomsom, drive to Muktinath hiring a local jeep. Muktinath is a holy place located at the Mustang region at the lap of the Himalayas offering stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Muktinath is home to Tibetan and Buddhist monks as you can observe them praying. Being a holy place of both Buddhists and Hindus, it is believed to have a spiritual power itself. Return back to Jomsom. Explore around Jomsom in the evening.

Overnight at Jomsom.

We will take an early morning flight back to Pokhara and observe the aerial view of Himalayan ranges and diversified landscapes. Upon arrival at Pokhara, check-in hotel. Rest for some time then proceed for a guided sightseeing tour at Pokhara. Visit Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi temple, located at Phewa Lake, Devi’s fall, Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Pagoda, etc. Roam around lakeside in the evening.

Overnight at Pokhara.

From Pokhara, drive back to Kathmandu passing through the lush green forest, dispersed local settlements, terraced farmlands and driving along the countryside leads you to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, check-in hotel. Rest day free for self-relaxation and pleasure.
