Annapurna Panorama Trek -10 days is considered as one of the easiest treks that take you at the elevation of 3210m. Annapurna Panorama trek is a short escape to the Annapurna region as you can witness close-up views of the Himalayas including Mt. Annapurna I(8091m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993m), Manaslu (8157m). Annapurna panorama trek or Poonhill Trek is a trek to nature’s paradise which is best suitable for family holidays. As it is the easiest trek, plenty of tea houses and lodges are available and people of all age groups can take part in Annapurna panorama trek.

Annapurna Panorama Trek starts from the scenic lake city; Pokhara. Drive to Nayapul and follow the trail to Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani and a short hike in the morning leads you to Poon Hill from where you can observe the mesmerizing view of Sunrise over the Himalayas. The breathtaking views of mountains along with the mix climate at Poon Hill fill your heart with joy. Return via Tadhapani and the beautiful and culturally rich Ghandruk village and explore the culture and lifestyle of the local people. Trek ends at Nayapul from where we drive back to Pokhara. You will be overwhelmed by the majestic views of mountain ranges, dense green forests, and terraced farmlands. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1338m/ 4390 ft.)

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu at an elevation of 1338m, meet and greet our representatives from Moonline Tours P. Ltd and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Roam around the streets of Kathmandu if you have time.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

Guided sightseeing tour at UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Durbar square/ Hanumandhoka Durbar Square; an ancient royal courtyard lies in the heart of Kathmandu with temples constructed from 15 to 18th century. Pashupatinath; one of the holiest place for Hindus. Swayambhunath; an oldest Buddhist monastery at the top of a hill and Boudhanath; one of the largest Buddhist stupas of Nepal. Short meeting with our trekking guides for Annapurna Panorama Trek routes and required gears. Roam around the streets of Kathmandu in the evening and Overnight at Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara (approximately 7 hours from Tourist Bus or 5 to 6 hours from Private Vehicle). Observe the lush green forest, terraced farmlands, and scattered local settlements, on the way to Pokhara along the bank of fast-flowing Trishuli River up to Mugling and after crossing the bridge leads us to Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful scenic lake city of Nepal. You can observe the views of Annapurna range, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Dhaulagiri from Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara, check-in hotel. Rest day free and roam around lakeside in the evening.

Overnight at Pokhara.

From Pokhara, drive to Nayapul; the starting point of Annapurna Panorama Trek. From Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga crossing the bridge of Modi Khola. The trail ascends all the way to Birethanti and then to Hile along the bank of the Modi Khola. More ascend uphill leads you to Tikhedhunga at an elevation of 1540m. Observe the terraced farmlands and explore the local villages’ enroute.

Walking Time: 4 to 5 hours.

From Tikhedhunga, climb the stone-paved stairs leading you to Ulleri and observe the magnificent views of the Himalayan range. The trail then leads you to Ghorepani; a village surrounded by mountains including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, etc passing through the green dense forest of Rhododendron and Oaks, terraced farmlands, waterfalls, streams and many uphill and downhill. Explore around Ghorepani in the evening.

Walking time: 6 to 7 hours.

Early morning hike to Poonhill to observe the mesmerizing view of Sunrise over the Himalayas. The trail ascends uphill all the way to Poonhill at an elevation of 3210m. Observe the beautiful view of Sun Rays touching the Himalayas and Sunrise over the Himalayas. Observe the close-up view of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, etc. After spending some more time in Poonhill, trek to Tadapani. The trail descends downhill to Ghorepani and from Ghorepani, climb the stone-paved stairs on the western side leads us to Banthanti. From Banthanti, passing through the lush green forest, waterfalls and streams the trail leads you to Tadapani at an elevation of 2630m.

Walking Time: 7 to 8 hours.

The trail descends all the way to Ghandruk at an elevation of 1940m passing through the dense forest, waterfalls, and streams. Ghandruk is an ethnic village of Gurungs and Magars and is famous for the warm hospitality the local people provide. Observe the stunning views of Annapurna range along with Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri. Explore around Ghandruk if you have time.

Overnight at Ghandruk.
Walking Time: 4 to 5 hours.

The trail from Ghandruk descends downhill to Birethanti passing through several waterfalls, terraced farmlands, and local settlements. From Birethanti, more walk downhill leads us to Nayapul where our trek ends. Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara, check-in hotel. Roam around the lakeside in the evening.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Drive back to Kathmandu. Observe the lush green forest, terraced farmlands, scattered local settlements on the way to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, check-in hotel. Rest day free for self-relaxation and pleasure or roam around the streets of Kathmandu in the evening.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

Free till departure. Our representative from Moonline Tours P. Ltd will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours prior to departure to board your onward journey.
