Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal, which can also be regarded as an open air museum of famous sites, ancient temples and shrines, golden pagodas, inspiring deities and it’s curious stories. The city is blessed with historic artistic, cultural interest and several beautiful towns surrounded by ideal destinations suitable for mini treks and day tours. Nagarkot is one of em which offers you a splendid view of the Himalayan range, and it’s beautiful landscapes. Although we can reach the destination in short time, nagarkot yet still offers us a completely different landscapes and terrains.
We have managed this one day trip which starts from Kathmandu to nagarkot enjoying beautiful morning in nagarkot and then exploring Kathmandu city for the remaining duration in a systematic manner. We will start our trip early in the morning, one hour drive to Nagarkot directly to view the beautiful sunrise and the mountains. Nagarkot is full of beautiful surrounding locations,so we will spend some time enjoying the moment.
Later in the noon, we drive back to some of the must visit and awesome places on the way back from Kathmandu.
Places we are going to visit:
Bhaktapur Durbar square (World Heritage Site):Bhaktapur Durbar square is regarded as a living museum as the whole area makes is imagine as if we are in a medieval period. Bhaktapur is full of Temples, cultural styled houses and more.
Changunarayan ( World Heritage Site):Changunarayan has a significant places in Nepal, as it is considered to be the oldest temple of Nepal.
Boudhanath ( World heritage site):Boudha is the biggest stupa in Nepal where you will find Buddhist pilgrims going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
Pashupatinath ( World Heritage site):Pashupati is one of the most sacred hindu Shrines in the world, The temple is richly ornamented pagoda which houses linga, a symbol of Lord shiva.
