Annapurna Circuit Trek is another famous trek organized at the Annapurna Region. Annapurna Circuit Trek is a circuit trek around the huge Annapurna massif covering the lush forested area of Rhododendron to the dry and diverse landscapes of Manang and Mustang districts leading to Thorong La Pass at an elevation of 5416m and offers spectacular views of Mountain ranges including Mt, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli along with Mardi Himal and Langtang range. Passing the holy temple of both Buddhist and Hindus Muktinath, the trek then leads to one of the beautiful villages of Ghorepani and then to Poon Hill the perfect destination for adventure lovers as you can witness the beautiful view of Sunrise over the Himalayas. The breathtaking views, amazing landscapes, dense forest and various species of flora and fauna make your journey worthwhile.

Our Annapurna Circuit Trek- 15 Days starts from Besisahar, Lamjung and leads north up to Marsyangdi valley. Passing through the lush forest of Rhododendron and beautiful waterfalls, as the landscape diversifies the greenery turns into a dry and deserted land of Manang and touches at the end of the Tibetan Buddhist plateau. The most challenging part is crossing Thorong La Pass at an elevation of 5416m; which is the ultimate destination of Annapurna Circuit trek. You will be amazed by the breathtaking views of mountain ranges like Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli, etc. The trek will then leads to Jomsom en-route Muktinath; the holy place of both Buddhist and Hindu and from Jomsom. We will then fly to Pokhara. This is how our entire Annapurna Circuit Trek- 15 days will come to an ending point. The package can be modified as per the needs and desires of travelers. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet and greet our representatives from Moonline Tours P. Ltd and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel If you have free time, roam around the streets in the evening.

Overnight at Kathmandu.

Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, the headquarter of Lamjung and then to Jagat along the countryside observing the lush green forests, diversified landscape, and dispersed local settlements. From Besisahar, furthermore of drive through beautiful local villages and enjoying the natural beauty, we will reach Jagat.

Overnight at Jagat.

From Jagat, passing several uphills and gradual descend through the beautiful sub-tropical forest with an opportunity to witness the flora and fauna, and crossing several suspension bridges we will reach Tal at an altitude of 1675m. The major attraction is giant honey cliffs, wildlife, ridges and beautiful village of Tal situated at the bank of Marsyangdi River.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Leaving the beautiful Tal valley, crossing the suspension bridge of Marsyangdi River, the trail ascends uphill through the Bamboo forest. The route then crosses several villages like Dharapani and Bagarchhap, we will soon enter the alpine area where we will be surrounded by alpine plants, grasslands and the forest of Pine. Passing through the villages, the trail then leads you to Danaque at an elevation of 2210m with ancient stone houses built in traditional styles. Explore around Danaque villages and monasteries. Observe the view of Manaslu mountain range, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and other snow-capped peaks.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Observe the view of Annapurna II, if the weather is clear. The trail from Danaque ascends uphill through steep stone stairs that leads all the way to Timang village, located on a hilltop above Danaque. Observe the panoramic view of Manaslu range, Annapurna range, and several other snow-capped peaks. Then with gradual descend downhill through a beautiful forest of Rhododendron and Pine, we will reach the village of Koto after crossing the suspension bridge and uphill climb. From Koto, the gradual uphill and downhill trail offering beautiful views of Annapurna III, the trail then leads you to Chame at an elevation of 2630m. Chame is a headquarter and the business center of Manang district. Roam around Chame village in the evening.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Enjoying the natural beauties and surroundings, the trail leads you to Bhartang village through an apple orchard. The trail then ascends uphill through steep and narrow trail into the dense Oak and Maple forest leading you to Dhikur Pokhari and observe the beautiful views of Pisang peak and Annapurna IV. Continue the trail then leads you to Lower Pisang at an elevation of 3300m. You can hike up to upper Pisang for acclimatization purposes and explore the culture of local people.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

The trekking today starts with a long but fairly easy ascent and be ready to enter the drier part of the Manang district. Manang can be reached via two routes: i) via Ghyaru and ii) via Humde. Eventually meeting at Mugje village. However, taking the easy route, that is, through Humde, we continue up the valley, through wide and dusty trail all the way to Manang. Following the trail through magnificent Mani walls and a stunning view of Pisang Peak and Annapurna III, we will reach Manang, a large Tibetan village with a number of stupas and monasteries. Manang is also surrounded by mountains, like Chulu peaks to the northeast and Gangapurna to the south. Roam around Manang village in the evening.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Acclimatization is very important if you are trekking from lower altitudes to higher altitudes. Since today is our acclimatization day, short hike to Gangapurna Lake and observe the stunning view of Annapurna range. Return back to Manang and explore the culture of local people and monasteries of Manang village.

Walking Time: 4 to 5 hours.

Leaving Marsyangdi valley behind, the trail leads us to Yak kharka. The steep uphill climb through alpine forest, juniper bushes and passing villages like Tanki and Ghusang, the trail becomes easy till we reach Yak Kharka. Observe the scattered juniper shrubs, a herd of yaks, horses, and ponies grazing along with Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Tilicho Peak. Furthermore of steep uphill trail after crossing the suspension bridge leads us to Ledar at an altitude of 4250m. Observe the mesmerizing view of Manaslu range, Tilicho Peak, Annapurna III, etc.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

From Ledar, the trail ascends uphill crossing the Suspension bridge of Kone River and walking along a scree slope, the route leads you to Thorong Phedi. From Thorong Phedi, furthermore of the walk leads you to High camp at an elevation of 4600m. You can observe the panoramic view of Annapurna peaks, chulu peaks, etc.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Today, we will reach the ultimate destination of our Annapurna Circuit Trek, Thorong La Pass at an elevation of 5416m. From High Camp, the route is very challenging as the trail is very steep and heavy snowfalls can sometimes block the route. After reaching the top of Thorong La Pass, observe the breathtaking views of Annapurna range in the northern side and deepest Kali Gandaki gorge on the western side. The trail steeply descends downhill till we reach Muktinath at an elevation of 3710m; a holy place of both Buddhists and Hindus. Observe the 108 water sprouts in Muktinath and the beautiful views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri.

Walking Time: 8 to 9 hours.

Enjoy the early morning prayers in Muktinath. After exploring some more time, descend downhill Jharkot and observe the gumbas and monasteries. We will then continue downwards to Kagbeni, situated at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Jhang River. From Kagbeni, following the old trading route of Mustang, the downward trail leads us to Jomsom at an elevation of 2713m. Roam around Jomsom in the evening.

Walking Time: 5 to 6 hours.

Take an early morning flight to Pokhara as the weather of Jomsom is strong wind with pebbles. Enjoy an aerial view of Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, etc. Upon arrival at Pokhara, transfer to the hotel and check-in hotel. Free day for self-relaxation in Pokhara. Roam around the lakeside in the evening.

Overnight at Pokhara.

From Pokhara, we will have a scenic drive to Kathmandu. Observe the dispersed local settlement, terraced farmlands, green forests, fast-flowing rivers on the way to Kathmandu. Driving along the countryside, we will reach Kathmandu as it is 7 hours’ drive from Pokhara if you are traveling in Tourist Bus and 5 to 6 hours of you are traveling in private vehicles. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, check-in hotel. Roam around the streets of Kathmandu in the evening.
