In the early morning we will be hosting pre-trip meeting at your hotel and provide you with brief information about today’s trip, where you can ask about your queries. You will be exploring some of the beautiful UNESCO World heritage sites In Kathmandu city and patan. We will visit these places:

Swoyambhunath Stupa (World Heritage Site):

Swoyambhunath is a hilltop temple located on the northwestern boundary of Kathmandu. You can see panoramic view of the whole valley and surrounding mountain views. There is a Buddhist stupa, the maha chaitya, which is believed to be born itself. Located on a little hill, Swoyambhunath stupa is one of the most amazing architectural jewels of the world.

Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site):

Kathmandu boasts one of the largest congregations of the beautiful historical monuments and shrines ever built. Located in the heart of the city, this particular area is recognized as UNESCO World heritage site. Also known as Hanuman dhoka palace square- it is an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. Some of the important monuments to be seen here are: Hanuman dhoka, Basantapur Tower, Kumari ghar, Shiva parvati temple house, Maju deval and more.                                   

Pashupatinath (World Heritage Site):

 Pashupatinath temple is a very significant Hindu temple of Lord shiva which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Temple also carries historical importance in Nepal as it is one of the oldest temples too. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter inside the temple, you can still clearly see the temple from eastern bank of Bagmati River and explore surrounding areas.

Bouddhanath (World Heritage Site):

Bouddhanath Considered being one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. One of the oldest and biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal. The stupa is declared to stand as the largest Buddhist shrine of South Asia. The stupa is considered to have been built in 5th century. The site is considered as Mecca for the Tibetan Buddhists and every year tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the Himalayan region visit the stupa.

Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage Site):

Patan is known to be one of the prosperous cities of ancient period. The architecture of the durbar square area is truly remarkable, which dates back to 16th century. There are lots of temples with there own unique design, some of them are Krishna mandir which has several carvings on its stone, with details about Ramayana, and Mahabharata. Some other major temples includes bhimsen temple, Taleju Bhawani, Vishwanath temple. Patan is not only famous for temples but also for Museums, Courtyards, the lively bazaars and food.

Enjoying your breakfast, today you will explore the valley bit away from the busy city life and experience local and cultural life. There is lot to explore today as you will be visiting 3 different locations. There will be a guided sightseeing tour in bhaktapur, Changunarayan and Nagarkot. You will be going to these places:

Bhaktapur Durbar Square (World Heritage Site):

Bhaktapur is basically a living museum, which you will be reminded the moment you set foot on it. Bhaktapur has been able to beautifully present its old monuments, traditional styled houses, traditional dresses and more. Some of the major attractions you will see in this site are: 55 –window palace, Dattatraya temple, Nyatapole temple, various art galleries and lot more.

Changunarayan temple (World Heritage Site):

Changunarayan carries historical importance in history of Nepal, as it is considered to be one of the oldest temple of Nepal built in the lichhavi period. With one of the finest and oldest specimens of pagoda architecture, temple holds decorated and sculptures and carvings. The temple is located at a hilltop, and you can view beautiful rice fields and amazing landscapes along the way.

Nagarkot:

Nagarkot is one of the favorite destination for a weekend gate away or simply taking a short ride out of the city as the place offers its visitors with clear panoramic views of Himalayan range, beautiful landscapes, and a fresh nature environment with less crowd. We will relax at nagarkot in the evening.

If Kathmandu is a cultural hub then pokhara is a place of exhilarating beauty to refresh, relax and discover the awesome creation of nature. You will take a morning flight to Pokhara, so you would have plenty of time to travel and explore the scenic beauty of Pokhara.

You will be visiting these places:

Fewa Lake: Fewa lake is second largest and one of the beautiful lake in Nepal. In a clear day when mountains are all clear you can see beautiful reflection of the Himalayas in the lake. You can row the boat and sail boat to relax yourself in serenity. Goddess Barahi temple is in the middle of the lake.

World peace pagoda: It is a big Buddhist stupa which is located on a hilltop which is behind Phewa Lake. This stupa is a symbol of peace, as there are huge idols of Lord Buddha from Japan, Srilanka, and Thailand has been installed.

Caves:

There are many caves in the city. Among them Mahendra cave and mahadev gupteshwor cave is one of the famous and beautiful ones.

We will be waking up very early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas from Sarangkot. You will be taken to sarangkot for sunrise view with a short drive where you will be enjoying the panoramic view of rich golden sunrise over great Annapurna range. Dhaulagiri and Machhapcchre.

We will spend our remaining time exploring various places in Pokhara.

After enjoying your breakfast you will be driven towards Chitwan. You would meet and be greeted by the representative of the hotel. You would also be enjoying the cultural dance performance.

We wake up early in the morning, enjoy our breakfast and get ready for our adventure activity in chitwan. The activity would include either jeep safari or canoe ride. We will also be visiting elephant breeding centre. We will spend whole day exploring Chitwan with many other activities.

Enjoying our breakfast we will be leaving the adventurous chitwan and head back to Kathmandu. It would be a 5 hours drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching here in the capital city you will have a few hours of free time which you can use by strolling around the streets of Kathmandu. We would also provide you with a farewell dinner in a classic Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. You also have the option to extend your trip as trekking to a new destination or doing adventurous sports like rafting, paragliding, or add any kind of tour.

This is your last day in Nepal, you can enjoy your breakfast and then our representative will accompany you at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal.
